"An off-duty soldier was arrested after a mass brawl at a city centre bus station.

Shoppers and travellers were left horrified as violence broke out at the Piccadilly Gardens interchange on Saturday afternoon.

Two groups of men began fighting in front of the bus stops, punching and kicking each other.

Dramatic footage of the fight posted onto You Tube shows several men being attacked as they lie stricken on the ground.

Meanwhile onlookers can be heard screaming and pleading with the men to stop.
